Dan Wakin

Dan Wakin is Chief Investment Officer of Income Advisors, LLC. He helps clients build a solid financial foundation while addressing issues such as wealth management, business advisory, tax planning, risk mitigation, and legal services. He started his financial services career in 1983 with Merrill Lynch. Dan combines a lifelong interest in financial markets and economics to construct portfolios that give clients confidence in their financial future.

Prior to founding Income Advisors, Dan served as Managing Director for a large family office. He was responsible for individual stock and bond selections and all alternative investment allocations. During this time, he also provided wealth management services to non-family high net worth investors as well as founding and managing a fund-of-hedge funds.

Dan has been married since 1987 to his lovely wife Lela. They have four wonderful adult children. He enjoys golf, fishing, and time on the beach. He and Lela are active members at Christ Chapel West.

Jennifer Wing, MBA

Ms. Wing is the Chief Investment Officer at GeoWealth. She is responsible for delivering on the broad range of investment needs of our clients, ensuring our platform offers access, flexibility, and investment expertise.

In this role, Jen draws from 15 years’ experience at J.P. Morgan in various positions in wealth management– from investment manager due diligence to digital product, strategy, operations, and sales.

Ms. Wing received her MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. She received her BS in Finance from The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University. She also holds a Series 65 designation. She is based in Greenwich, Connecticut with her family.

Ivo Ivanov, CFA & CIPM

Since joining GeoWealth in 2011, Ivo supports our investment program through data analytics and quantitative research and supports further integration of the Investment Solutions business into the platform.

Prior experiences include: serving as a Director at TD Ameritrade; as the Chief Portfolio Manager for Amerivest; as Vice President and Director of Research at Bear Stearns Asset Management; and as a Portfolio Manager and Director of Research at O’Shaughnessy Capital Management/Netfolio.

Ivo received a B.S. in Economics from Sofia, Bulgaria, an M.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from Southern Illinois University, and an MBA from Thunderbird -The Gavin School of International Management. He also holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement® (CIPM) designations.

Josh Smith

Josh brings a depth of experience, having worked with several leading Michigan based RIAs. His roles have involved many facets of the investment management industry, including research, due diligence, trading, and portfolio management.

Josh holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, and a Master’s of Science in Finance from Wayne State University.
